Northern Plains Equipment is seeking an experienced Service Manager – Agricultural Equipment to lead the daily operations of our service department in Garrison, North Dakota. What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department
  • Schedule and coordinate service work to maximize efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure repair orders are processed accurately and completed on time
  • Communicate repair updates and timelines with customers
  • Support and develop service technicians through coaching and leadership
  • Foster strong communication between service staff, customers, and management
  • Monitor department performance and work toward operational goals
  • Assist with marketing and business development initiatives alongside other departments
  • Maintain compliance with company safety standards and operational procedures

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in agricultural equipment, diesel, or heavy equipment service operations
  • Leadership or management experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage workflow in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship-building skills
  • Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems
  • Proactive attitude with strong accountability and follow-through

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work around equipment and shop environments
  • Safety-minded and committed to maintaining a safe workplace
